[BUG]: fix poor text contrast and readability in dark mode #584

Describe the bug
Several UI elements have very poor contrast in dark mode —
text becomes hard to read against dark backgrounds, especially
on the Request a Book form page and other sections.
Proposed Fix
- Review CSS color variables used in dark mode
- Improve contrast for input fields, labels, and placeholders
- Test across all pages in both light and dark mode

Steps to Reproduce
To Reproduce
- Open BiblioDrift in dark mode
- Go to Request a Book form
- Input field labels and placeholder text are barely visible
Expected Behavior
Expected behavior
Text and UI elements should be clearly readable in both
light and dark modes (WCAG AA contrast standard).
Actual Behavior
Text labels, input placeholders, and form elements
appear very dark and are barely visible against the
dark background, making the form difficult to use
in dark mode.

pls make sure that the 'request a form' page follows the same colour scheme as the rest of the application - in both the dark and light modes..
