Project Update: Dual-Identity Vault Architecture & Public Library Integration
Overview:
Successfully engineered and integrated the 'Vault Profile System' and 'Public Discovery Engine'. The platform now seamlessly handles dual-identities (Original Creators vs. Vault Archivers) with 100% dynamic data rendering and robust UI stability.
Role-Based Routing: Implemented a unified profile engine that intelligently renders different views based on the user's role (Creator vs. Uploader) using URL query parameters.
Zero-Hardcoding Architecture: Completely purged static fallback names. The system now strictly derives identities from active localStorage sessions or URL parameters, defaulting safely to "Unknown User" when unauthorized.
Real-Time Data Synchronization: Profile statistics (Works count, Genre distribution, Biographies) are no longer static. They are dynamically aggregated in real-time by querying the IndexedDB (Dexie) based on the targeted identity.
Automated Identity Tracking: Removed manual uploader input fields. The system now automatically and securely attaches the active session's username to the database payload during upload.
Privacy Configuration: Integrated a privacy toggle, allowing users to sandbox assets locally (Private) or push them to the community feed (Public).
Public Community Shelf: Engineered a dynamic 3D shelf on the main library page that actively filters and renders only database entries marked with privacy: 'public'.
Cross-Navigation Modals: Upgraded the 3D book detail modal to feature dual-clickable tags. Users can now click on either the "Creator" or the "Vault Archiver" to be redirected to their respective dynamic profile pages.
Grid Blowout Resolution: Fixed a critical CSS grid overlap bug. Implemented strict flex, min-width: 0, and overflow: hidden boundaries on book cards to ensure extremely long, unspaced filenames truncate gracefully without breaking the layout.
Clean Fallback States: Added robust error handling and sanitized UI fallbacks for empty metadata, missing cover images, and missing descriptions.
Status:
All modules tested, committed, and pushed. The local IndexedDB storage and frontend routing are perfectly synced.
