All changes have been tested locally and are working properly ✅

If possible, kindly consider increasing the issue level based on the implementation scope and overall frontend enhancements included in this PR. 🚀

the scope exploded far beyond “add a landing page” lol

  • landing.html + landing.css are extremely large monolithic files right now (~2600 + ~1800 lines). This is going to become difficult to maintain quickly without componentization/section splitting.
  • landing-contributors.js contains a lot of fairly complex state/cache/render/ticker logic for frontend-only contributor rendering. Some of this probably belongs server-side or should at least be simplified.
  • The PR introduces multiple new data-loading paths (../data, /data, frontend/data) which feels brittle and suggests path-resolution issues weren’t solved cleanly.
  • Auto-committing contributor JSON from a scheduled workflow directly into the repo three times a day may create noisy commit history very quickly.
  • There are also unrelated changes mixed in (manifest.json, service worker, redirect behavior via APP_ROUTE, etc.) that are not really “landing page” scoped.

before merge I’d strongly want:

  • a cleanup/reduction of some of the frontend complexity
  • clearer separation of deployment/build/contributor-sync concerns from the actual landing page UI work
  • at minimum some documentation around the contributor data flow + caching architecture since there’s now a lot of moving pieces involved
