"Rendering rotation fails with specific font sizes

I'm experiencing an issue where Chinese character rotation fails to render properly at particular font sizes, while English text rotation functions normally. What might be causing this discrepancy?

It looks like an issue in one of our dependencies a method that we call returns 0,0. Might be a bug in that library but it will take me a lot of time to investigate. I don't know when I will be able to work on this but that will probably take a long time.

To give a bit more context. This is probably happening inside a third party dependency and that would require me to debug and understand that code. It could take months before I have time to investigate this.
