How to enable HEIC encoding on Windows with Magick.NET? #2031
|
Hi, I'm developing a program to convert image format on Windows, and I got this exception when I tried write HEIC with Magick.NET: So, is that any method to enable Magick.NET encoding HEIC? I searched online and it seems that installing libheif will help solving this problem, but how to install exactly? I'm not familiar with both Magick.NET and libheif currently. I'm using Magick.NET-Q16 on Windows 10 x64. |

Maybe there is a misunderstanding. I'm trying to convert images to HEIC format (write HEIC to file), not to read HEIC images or convert them to other formats. |

That is not supported due to licensing issues. The only supported "heic output format" is avif.
