[BUG] Netxcloud WebDAV Sync not working with v1.2.5 anymore

📝 Description

Synchronisation is no longer possible since version 1.2.5 (version 1.2.1, on the other hand, works without any problems). The error message states that another device is already synchronising.

🔄 Steps to Reproduce (REQUIRED)

1. Configure a Nextcloud WebDAV directory as the sync backend in Mindwtr Desktop v1.2.5.
2. Click on Sync now
3. See error

Successful data synchronisation of data.json

This is in the same area as two recent WebDAV reports but a different failure: with those, the server answered a file read in a way the app could not accept; yours means the app found a live "reservation" record in the sync folder each time and backed off, believing another device holds it. 1.2.5 added that reservation to protect attachment changes, which is why 1.2.1 never showed this.

Three things would pin it down:

1. Settings → Diagnostics → enable Debug logging on the Mac, press Sync now, then Share log and attach it here. A log from the iPad too if possible.
2. Does it still fail after every other device (including the iPad) has been fully closed for 15 minutes? That separates a stuck record from two devices blocking each other.
3. Is sync encryption enabled for this folder?

If a stuck record is the cause, deleting the file .mindwtr-sync-fence-v1.json in the Nextcloud sync folder should unblock you immediately - worth trying and reporting back either way.

Fixed with 9a25f68, no logs needed after all.

Another report came with server access logs and showed the real cause: on iPhone and iPad (and Android) the app resolved the reservation file's address to data.json itself. On your iPad that turned into repeated failed attempts to create the reservation over the document, which the app reported as another device holding the location. Your Mac was never affected, which matches what you saw. The address derivation is fixed on both phone platforms.

Until the next release, keep syncing from the Mac; please test the iPad on that release.
