Summary

The template now requires drevops/vortex-tooling ~1.5.0, sets config.platform.php to 8.4.25 and the phpstan.neon phpVersion to 80425, and keys the CI database cache on v26.10.0. The 9 demo videos under .vortex/docs/static/img/ are re-recorded against tooling 1.5.0 from Packagist, and both package-lock.json files are refreshed on top of the ESLint 10 locks from #3219.

On main, the template calls 3 scripts that tooling 1.4.0 doesn't ship: vortex-check-worktree-changes in the build job on both CI providers, vortex-convert-audit-sarif in audit.yml and vortex-storybook in .ahoy.yml. Released as it stands, 1.42.0 would keep the ~1.4.0 pin, and a project updating to it would fail CI on the first call to one of them. Recording the videos also hit 2 recorder defects: the installer script stalled on any multiselect long enough to scroll, and the build recording failed because passthru() gave Docker Compose a pipe instead of a terminal.

After merge, the braces GHSA-vfj7-8cjw-p6xm allowlist entry in both package-audit.jsonc files expires on 2026-12-31 instead of 2026-10-31, and the GHSA-rj75-hqrm-r3gf alerts on postcss-selector-parser close. The lock refresh also drops eslint-import-resolver-node, an optional peer of eslint-plugin-import-x, with the polyfill packages it pulled in. ESLint 10 itself landed in #3219, and container images, Drupal core and the Behat stack moved in #3163, #3201 and #3159, so this PR changes no package.json, eslint.config.mjs or Dockerfile.

The drupal/drupal_helpers (^2.2.0), drupal/generated_content (^2.2.0) and drupal/testmode (^2.8.0) constraints follow the versions composer update -W installed, through bump-after-update.

CI

.circleci/config.yml and .github/workflows/build-test-deploy.yml: the database cache key prefix is v26.10.0, 1 step ahead of the uselagoon/* 26.9.0 tag it normally follows, as a one-off cache reset for this release. The generated .circleci/vortex-test-common.yml and .github/workflows/vortex-test-didi.yml are regenerated with ahoy lint-ci-fix.

Front-end dependencies

Root and theme package-lock.json: refreshed with npm update. postcss-selector-parser moves from 7.1.5 to 7.1.7, which clears GHSA-rj75-hqrm-r3gf. The full re-resolution drops eslint-import-resolver-node, an optional peer of eslint-plugin-import-x that both locks carried over, and the es-abstract polyfill family it pulled in through resolve@2.0.0-next.7. import-x loads it only for the legacy resolver options package, packageFilter, pathFilter and packageIterator, which neither eslint.config.mjs sets, and ahoy lint passes without it installed.
Root and theme package-audit.jsonc: the braces GHSA-vfj7-8cjw-p6xm entry, which has no patched release, expires on 2026-12-31 instead of 2026-10-31. audit-ci@7.1.0 --high passes for both locks with it.

Demo videos

All 9 videos under .vortex/docs/static/img/ are re-recorded against drevops/vortex-tooling 1.5.0 from Packagist. None of them shows the PCOV install or the import plugin, so [#3220] Installed PCOV with PIE instead of PECL in the CLI image. #3221 and [#3218] Updated 'eslint' and '@eslint/js' to 10. #3219, which landed after the recording, leave them current.
.vortex/docs/.utils/update-videos.php: the installer expect loop also matches the selected ┘ corner that a scrolling multiselect draws in its bottom border, so it no longer stalls on a multiselect with more options than fit on screen.
.vortex/docs/.utils/type-and-run.php: runs the recorded command through proc_open() with the terminal as its stdout. passthru() connected stdout to a pipe, so Docker Compose couldn't open a console for its build progress.
