Explore Arkham on foot and by skiff, search flooded districts, and use unlocked shortcuts to revisit areas efficiently. Enable Game Speed Control when you want to slow down tense traversal or move through previously explored locations more quickly.
The game emphasizes careful inventory management, ammunition conservation, supplies, and upgrades. Enable Unlimited Inventory Resources before entering dangerous areas or testing different equipment choices. Turn the option off when you want the intended survival-horror balance.
Investigate Arkham by examining ritual residues, clues, journals, masks, and environmental details. Optional investigations can provide safer routes, supplies, weapon upgrades, and other advantages without blocking the main story.
The sequel places greater emphasis on survival-horror combat against threats such as the Slither, Deep Ones, and other eldritch creatures. Use Infinite Health, Unlimited Ammunition, No Reload, One-Hit Kills, or Freeze Enemies independently to customize the difficulty of each encounter.
