About DTU evaluation- aligning the two point clouds

Could someone share the approach to evaluating the DTU dataset? I'm having trouble aligning the two point clouds.

FYI, VGGT only evaluated DTU on their estimated pose + depth map branch and ETH3D for point map estimation.

I used the DTU mask to mask the point cloud and it helps the alignment qualitatively. However, it is still >1.0 for all 3 numbers
