Everyone participating in the Fandango project, including in our issue tracker, pull requests, discussions, and chat, is expected to treat other people with respect and to follow the Python Community Code of Conduct.
In short, we are committed to being:
- Open. We welcome contributors from any background and any level of experience.
- Considerate. People put work into what they contribute, and it is read by others. Say what you mean, and assume the other person meant well.
- Respectful. Disagreement is normal and useful. Personal attacks, dismissal, and harassment are not.
Unacceptable behaviour includes harassment, insulting or derogatory comments, personal or political attacks, publishing others' private information without permission, and unwelcome sexual attention.
This applies in all project spaces, and also when an individual is representing the project in public.

All reports are handled confidentially. We will acknowledge your report and let you know how we intend to respond. You are not expected to have evidence, or to be certain that what happened warrants a report, in order to raise it.
Maintainers who do not follow or enforce this code in good faith may face consequences decided by the other maintainers.
Maintainers may take any action they judge appropriate, including a private warning, a public correction, or a temporary or permanent ban from project spaces. Where possible we prefer to start with the least severe response that resolves the situation.
