integer expression expected

I´ll try ca-scripts with debian squeeze with following versions:

GNU bash, version 4.1.5(1)
OpenSSL 0.9.8o 01 Jun 2010
date (GNU coreutils) 8.5

and I get the following error by executing ca-init

/usr/bin/ca-init: line 62: [: : integer expression expected
/usr/bin/ca-init: line 65: [: : integer expression expected
/usr/bin/ca-init: line 69: [: : integer expression expected
/usr/bin/ca-init: line 79: [: : integer expression expected

Do you know the error?

This is due to the vars not being initialized, adding this at the beginning of the script fixes it:

CRT_ONLY=0
CNF_ONLY=0
