This project presents an AI-powered traffic management solution that uses YOLOv8 for real-time detection and classification of emergency vehicles (ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars). The system integrates a dynamic prioritization algorithm to automatically adjust traffic signals鈥攎inimizing delays and ensuring quick passage of emergency services.
Built as part of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, the project focuses on improving urban mobility during emergencies.
