Firefox Hardware Video Acceleration?

[ghost]

I tried following https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2021/08/enable-hardware-video-acceleration-va-api-for-firefox-in-ubuntu-20-04-18-04-higher/, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Firefox_Hardware_acceleration and https://linuxconfig.org/firefox-hardware-acceleration-on-linux. Could not get it to work on my Haswell PC with Firefox 96. Do these steps apply for Opensuse? Which package would provide the VA-API driver for my CPU.
