Screen too small

Trying to install Gecko from USB stick. Graphic card is NVidia. Resolution defaults to 640x480, the error message is "Screen too small" and the response option is off the screen. I have tried setting the resolution from an edited grub, but several attempts have failed.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi there, what version are you trying? And have you made any modifications to the packages and/or system configuration on the live USB system? (Changes to the live USB are persistent.)

I replied via E-mail, but as I don't see my response here, I am sending it again, and will not use E-mail in order to be consistent.

Booting GeckoLinux_STATIC_XFCE, grub2.cfg indicates "set gfxmode=auto". I have edited the grub boot selection with no success. I have not touched grub2.cfg.

OK, but after booting into the live system have you ever made any adjustments to the configuration or packages? To be sure that's it not some bad configuration in the live configuration it might be a good to idea to re-flash the USB.

gfxmode is only regarding the bootup process, as far as I know it has nothing to do with Xorg.

I re-downloaded the iso, verified the MD5Sum, used dd on a different USB stick. Nothing changed.

So does this mean I will not be able to install Gecko at all?

It would be worth trying with a GeckoLinux ROLLING .iso to see if the newer hardware support makes a difference.
