Connection failed for 'julesServer'

I have the Jules extension installed but whenever I start the Jules extension, despite having the latest version installed and being logged in and being able to use the extension, I still get this connection error.

✕ Error during discovery for server 'julesServer': Connection failed for 'julesServer': MCP error -32000: Connection closed

Trying to call /jules from within gemini-cli in windows 11 terminal, resulting in:

start_new_jules_task (julesServer MCP Server) {"repo_name":"xxxx","user_task_description":"xxxxxx"

   "error": "spawn jules ENOENT"
 }  

jules extension installed via NPM in C:\Users{user}\AppData\Roaming\npm

Running Jules directly in terminal works fine, calling from extension fails. Suspecting windows-specific path issues??
