The plan checks API reference page loads, API-path 404s, and client errors on those pages. An issue escalates when API page loads fall or those 404s and errors rise. The new schema should keep the same API reference pages.

What changed

Requests to /api/ category and endpoint pages now build from schema SHA 79c193f94e660ee1fb4ba071707b21beebf41820.
Schema release 0.379.0 is generated from the previous SHA f45d69fe. The OpenAPI JSON should match the pages that already shipped.
sentry-docs must deploy before the new SHA is live.
develop-docs also deploys this src/ file from the same commit. It does not render OpenAPI pages.

Risk

A missing or invalid schema can drop /api/ routes during static generation. Readers then see 404s on the API reference tree.
A shape change can throw during API page render. Client errors on /api/ URLs would rise.
Platform and product docs do not read this schema.

Intended effect

API reference pages keep loading. The page-load signal with page_type:api should hold its share of all page loads.
absent looks like that share falling while total page loads hold. Static generation would have dropped API routes.
There is no new content signal. Release 0.379.0 wraps the previous SHA. The expected shift is none.

If 404s rise, check whether a category slug disappeared from the schema.
2026-10-18 UTC had 278 errors on /api/ URLs. Treat a repeat of that spike as detected. Do not use 278 as the normal top of the band.

Not observable

No signal records OpenAPI field-level content. The executor cannot confirm that prose on a given endpoint page changed.
API-path 404s are not split by category. A single missing category can hide in the pooled 404 count.
Pageload p95 for API URLs has no prior-day band. One 24h sample was 8.7s on 380 spans.
develop-docs has no OpenAPI page signal.
