The build now pins a new schema revision. Public API pages do not change. The plan checks API page loads and API path errors. An issue escalates when API page loads fall or those errors appear.

What changed

The docs build fetches OpenAPI from schema SHA d12e7e7887237731bfe71ad984d78a8f2f3a999f. The prior pin was 1e28b5702e73a03dddef6e35fad191ab1ed95b1a. That schema commit does not change openapi-derefed.json. Requests to /api/ pages keep the same content. sentry-docs must deploy before the new pin is live. develop-docs also deploys this shared file. develop-docs does not render OpenAPI pages.

Risk

A missing OpenAPI file fails the sentry-docs build. A bad parse can drop or rename API routes. Users then get 404s on /api/ pages. This SHA does not change that file. The remaining risk is a bad fetch at build time. Shared src also rebuilds develop-docs.

Intended effect

This pin adds no new API page and no new metric. Confirm the schema still built API pages. docs.page.load with page_type=api must hold its share of all page loads. Absent: that share falls while other page types hold.

Regression watch

A dropped route shows as fewer API page loads. A broken API page shows as errors on /api/ URLs. Put both on this change. Other page types are the control. If those also fall, the whole site moved, not only API pages.

If API path errors appear, inspect API page slugs against the prior schema.

Not observable

Hourly API page-load series did not return. The 404 metric docs.page.not_found did not return. Pageload traces for /api/ timed out. Runtime logs for MDX 404 warnings timed out. develop-docs error rate was not measured. Pre-ship 404 rate for /api/ paths is missing. The /api/ error query used http.url. Client errors on API pages may lack that tag. The executor must not file those signals as none or detected.
