/ask does not work in auto mode

Describe the bug

When I am in auto mode (maybe also in other modes?) I repeatedly get error messages that the model is not supported when using /ask tangents.

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.86

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1 type /models auto
2 type some long running task
3 type /ask something bening

Expected behavior

popup with the answer not the following

Additional context

This is business account, .env file and xAI models are excluded.
