Map focus related actions to unused controller buttons

Would it be possible to map, say, the A,B,X,Y buttons on a connected Xbox controller to Auto mode, Focus Far, Focus Near, One-push focus? ( or map the shoulder / trigger buttons instead, if the former are occupied already, like NDI Studio Monitor Joystick PTZ control does) I've been dealt a very defective PTZ camera, need to adjust focus all the time, and find myself needing to grab keyboard & mouse all the time.
