German IPA phonetic vs phonemic transcriptions

Hello!

First off, thank you so much for creating this IPA transcription app. I am very new to IPA. I have used your online IPA converter for Latin and now German and it has been of immense help to me. I just have a quick question regarding the German IPA, if it’s not too much trouble.

I notice that the phonetic transcriptions look like the phonemic transcriptions generated for Latin words. Taking “jeder” as an example, the phonetic transcription is “ˈjeː.dɐ”, and the phonemic is “ˈjeːdɐ”. Again, this is all very new to me, but I just wanted to check and see if it is possible that the app’s phonetic transcriptions are in fact phonemic and vice versa.

For German, it uses phonemic transcriptions from de.wiktionary.org data dump and rule-based module from here https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Module:User:Benwing2/de-pron
Phonetic transcription is generated using the module only.
Phonemic transcription is first looked up in the dictionary made from the dump and then in a case of a miss is being generated by the module.
Try a more complex word like Kraftfahrzeugkennzeichen
phonemic: ˈkʁaftfaːʁt͡sɔɪ̯kɛnt͡saɪ̯çən
phonetic: ˈkʰʁaft.faːɐ̯.t͡sʰɔɪ̯.kʰɛn.t͡sʰaɪ̯.çn̩
