This tutorial walks through building a self-hosted backup server with Minarca on Debian,
covering a RAID1 array for redundant backup storage, correctly sized temporary storage on
limited-RAM servers, a real post-installation bug affecting service startup after reboot,
a firewall and SSL-terminated reverse proxy, SSH hardening with fail2ban, and account-level
hardening (default credentials, email notifications, 2FA). No existing tutorial covers Minarca.
