filter by category improvements

I think we could improve this filter by category UI by doing one of two things.

A: don't show categories that aren't applicable to the current inventory
B: show a count next to each thing so it's easy to see if you actually have anything in that category

I'm leaning towards B since that then helps inform you if you have any of those items, along with allowing you to filter to them if you want to. I left option A in here though because that's what I was going to suggest when I decided to create this issue.

we can certainly do B with A if we go with A, but as I was typing the ticket out I started to think that having categories come and go might be confusing. for example, if someone is looking for their mined resources and the item isn't in the filter list they might still search their whole inventory looking for whatever they have in mind. whereas if it's in the filter list but it has a "(0)" next to it then they'll know they don't actually have any mined resources available.

Yeah that's a valid point. I'm on board with B only!
