InsightForge is a AI Powered full-stack web application designed to analyze user input and generate meaningful insights through a clean UI and a robust backend system.
This project was built to simulate real-world production workflows, including authentication, validation, database management, and deployment.

🚀 Running Locally

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18+ recommended)
• PostgreSQL
• Docker (optional)

Setup

git clone https://github.com/jhasaurav97/insightforge.git
cd insightforge
npm install

Create a .env file and add:

DATABASE_URL=your_database_url
ACCESS_TOKEN_SECRET=your_secret_key
ACCESS_TOKEN_EXPIRY=1d

REFRESH_TOKEN_EXPIRY=your_secret_key
REFRESH_TOKEN_EXPIRY=7d

Run the app:

npm run dev

🧪 Real Issues Solved

• Fixed React Router refresh 404 issue on Vercel using rewrite rules
• Resolved CORS and SPA routing problems
• Handled Prisma + Docker compatibility issues
• Debugged deployment failures across multiple platforms
