Trying to install as per README:

npm install --save react-text-selection-popover

causes

npm ERR! code EINVALIDTAGNAME
npm ERR! Invalid tag name "^16.8.0,^17.x,^18.x" of package "react@^16.8.0,^17.x,^18.x": Tags may not have any characters that encodeURIComponent encodes.

Me too. A workaround is to add --legacy-peer-deps

npm install --save react-text-selection-popover --legacy-peer-deps

use yarn add react-text-selection-popover, it works
