Ionic 5 cannot clear badges

I am using Ionic 5 with cordova and it doesnt clear badges, any idea how to fix it?

how you use this plugin? after install, I got

cordova.plugins.notification.badge.clear();

Error:

Property 'notification' does not exist on type 'CordovaPlugins'
