Feature Request: Adding aux faders

thanks for this integration. Very useful.
Would it be much effort for you to add control for Aux1 .. Aux4 faders in addition to Main?

Hi Michael,

yes, that should be doable.

I could add an optional parameter "fader" when calling the "volume_db_set" action.

And also add an extra action like "mute_fader".
This way all faders could be controlled with dedicated actions.

Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to use a fader in the default media player component. It seems to use a given set of parameters for controlling volume and mute state, which can not be altered.

If this I okay for you, I could upload a test version.

Hello Kai,

a test version would be great. Thanks. If this aux fader thing could be controlled somehow from home assistant, it would be fine for me. It doesn’t need to be from inside media player.
I would use this stuff to control bass via CDSP loudness feature:

there is a new branch "aux_fader":

It contains changes to set volume and mute state for Aux faders. Also show current state for volume and mute for all four Aux faders.
Please check the README.md for camilladsp.volume_set_db and camilladsp.fader_mute

Unfortunately this integration now need to connect to CamillaDSP backend as well as CamillaDSP itself.
That means CamillaDSP has to be started with activated websocket server: '-a -p '
