National Road Safety Hackathon 2026 - 7 Slide Presentation Outline

As per the IIT Madras / Unstop Rulebook, Stage 1 requires ONLY a 7-slide presentation including "Welcome" and "Thank You". This outline is perfectly calibrated to maximum jury evaluation criteria for RoadSoS.

Slide 1: Welcome (Mandatory)

  • Title: Aapda Seva: Next-Gen Emergency Dispatch
  • Subtitle: Team [Your Team Name] | National Road Safety Hackathon 2026 (IIT Madras)
  • Content: Theme: AI in Road Safety | Track: RoadSoS

Slide 2: The Problem: Navigating the Golden Hour

  • Title: The Critical Information Gap
  • Content:
    • Delays in locating the right trauma care services cost thousands of lives.
    • Lack of real-time, consolidated location-based access to emergency contacts.
    • Solution: A unified, location-based dispatch platform to integrate emergency services into a single UI for faster coordination.

Slide 3: RoadSoS: Immediate Service Fetching

  • Title: Rapid Contact Orchestration
  • Feature Highlight: Location-based algorithm guarantees the highest number of reliable contacts fetched securely.
  • Categories Covered:
    • Nearest Police Stations
    • Trauma Centres & Hospitals
    • Ambulance Services
    • Towing Services, nearest Puncture Shops, and Showrooms.

Slide 4: Real-World Resilience (Evaluation Criteria Core)

  • Title: Built for Global Scale and Offline Constraints
  • Content:
    • Offline Functionality: Caching systems ensure the app demonstrates robustness in low-network and complete offline conditions.
    • Global Applicability: Eliminating geofencing by integrating Open APIs, allowing the platform to seamlessly scale operations across countries.

Slide 5: The AI Intel Layer (Python Powered)

  • Title: AI Triage & Structured Open Models
  • Content:
    • Our Approach: Using Open Models (Python + Scikit-Learn).
    • Function: A background Python pipeline automatically ranks incoming crashes by analyzing telemetry (G-force, speed drop).
    • Data & Accuracy: All incident telemetry operates on a submitted structured NoSQL database for maximum data accuracy and latency reduction.

Slide 6: User Interface & Future Innovation

  • Title: Dispatcher Interface & Innovation
  • Content:
    • UI/UX: A highly accessible, high-contrast dashboard enabling dispatchers to track the crisis actively via a consolidated map.
    • Innovation: Embedded multi-media payloads (Audio/Photo base64 data from offline crashes) giving operators "eyes on the crash" before medical teams arrive.

Slide 7: Thank You (Mandatory)

  • Title: Thank You
  • Subtitle: Together, we can make roads smarter, safer, and faster.
  • Content:
    • Team [Your Team Name] | [Contact Email / Phone]
    • Code, Models, & Structured Database submitted via Unstop.
