Important
Two test suites in this PR fail and will block CI: the new language spec unit test asserts the wrong name/title, and both Fortran e2e tests read the result iframe body while the runtime emits output to the console pane. Details inline.
Reviewed changes — fortran-wasm language backed by @live-codes/lfortran-wasm@0.3.0 (LFortran + LLVM compiled to Wasm).
- Language spec
lang-fortran-wasm.ts—fortran-wasm/Fortran (Wasm), pass-through compiler,scriptType: 'text/fortran-wasm',liveReload,largeDownload, Monaco/CodeMirror/CodeJar editor support (all three assets verified present and registeringfortran). - Result-page runtime
lang-fortran-wasm-script.ts— classic worker viacreateWorkerFromContent,importScriptsof the CDN IIFE (self.lfortranWasm),createCompiler({ baseUrl }), standardlivecodes.<lang>namespace/loaded/runpattern. Package contract (run -> { stdout, errors: string, exitCode }) matches the published README/source. - Registration + docs + starter —
languages.ts,sdk/models.ts(Language,TemplateName),models.ts,vendors.ts, command menu, storybook,functions/vendors/templates.js, PHPstarter-templates.json,language-info.html+ EN i18n, docs MDX, docs sliders/template list, README badge 114→115,vendor-licenses.md, starter template + SVG. - Tests — new unit spec and
e2e/specs/fortran.spec.ts. - Unrelated — also adds "Learn X in Y minutes" links for Fennel and F#.
Verification: typecheck:app and test:i18n-export pass; no duplicate data-lang; no extension-alias conflicts. Both test failures above were reproduced locally against a built app.
ℹ️ Nitpicks
src/livecodes/languages/fortran-wasm/lang-fortran-wasm-script.ts:195— thescript.srcfetch fallback (and the 30×200 msreadCoderetry around it) look unreachable:core.ts:1076forcessingleFile = truewheneverscriptTypeis non-module, so the editor script is always written as inlineinnerHTML. The only observable side effect is a ~6 s delay before the "no code to run" message when the editor is intentionally empty.

ℹ️ No new issues in the incremental commit — it is a one-line docs import correction. The two CI-blocking test failures reported in the previous pullfrog review are unchanged at this head.

WalkthroughThe change adds Fortran WebAssembly as a language, with an LFortran worker runner and starter template. It updates language registration, template discovery, documentation, translations, and Storybook examples. Language-resource links for Fennel and F# also change. ChangesFortran WebAssembly support

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Add a timeout for compiler initialization.
This timeout starts only after ensureReady() resolves. If the worker’s getCompiler() promise never settles, ensureReady() remains pending and the first run never reaches this timer. The loading state also remains active. Start a separate readiness timeout when the worker spawns, and clear it when readiness settles or the worker tears down.
