Whenever I do the compacting function for thunderbird, and I have one or more messages that have a flag showing they are new messages, that new messages flag is getting reset such that the messages look like they are no longer new messages, even though their status has not changed. I did some testing, and when your add-on was enabled, the new message flag was reset to no new messages after the thunderbird compacting function was used to compact folders. Is this a possible side effect of your add-on? I really like to use your add-on to identify the senders of spam mail, so I will keep using it.
