Requesting a feature: Add "Trend Price" Columns

Hey, I like the tool, works really well so far, thanks for the Work!

Do you see a way to add columns for trending prices to the stock export ? (e.g 1/ 7 / 30 day average)

• even with a few hundred cards, the most annoying remaining task is to get average prices for each to decide how to update ...

(or i might be missing something where this is possible ... )

Thanks, and no, you weren't missing anything. Those numbers only live on the product page. They never appear in your stock listing, so the export had no way to reach them.

v2.4.0 adds them behind a checkbox in the export options: TrendPrice_EUR, Avg1_EUR, Avg7_EUR, Avg30_EUR, and one derived column, PriceVsTrend_Pct, which says how far your own price sits above or below the trend. Sorting by that one is the quickest way to find the listings actually worth touching.

The cost is one request per product rather than per row, since conditions and languages of the same card share a lookup. Measured against a live account it runs at roughly 0.6 s per product with three requests in parallel, so a few hundred cards land around three minutes. The values are cached for 12 hours because Cardmarket recalculates its statistics once a day, so a second export the same day costs nothing. The checkbox is off by default and prints a time estimate before it starts.

One thing to be aware of: Cardmarket publishes the price guide per product, not per variant. A foil and a non-foil of the same printing get the same trend values, and so does every condition. The page offers no finer split.

I am going to test it - as soon as I can download it ;-)

However, I am not sure if you are correct about the non-foil only value:
in Lorcana, Pokemon, Magic (these are the ones I looked up) you can toggle Foil/Reverse/… only on the single card/product page -that changes the trend price (I expect this would only include foils ... )
However, I am unsure if one is able to access that via remote lookup
(or i might have mistaken your meaning)

You were right, and I was wrong. Thanks for pushing on it.

I had only read the HTML Cardmarket serves for a product page, which carries a single set of values, and concluded the guide was per product. I never checked what the switch does. It appends isFoil=Y or isReverseHolo=Y to the URL and the server renders different numbers, so the variant values are reachable remotely after all.

Measured a few: Thopter Foundry sits at €0.36 normally and €3.94 in foil. Vanquisher's Banner at €5.02 and €16.70. Sharing one value would have put a foil listing about 1000% above "its" trend, in exactly the column you would sort by before repricing.

The export now looks each row up as the variant it actually is, using the foil and reverse-holo flags it already reads from the listing. Foil and non-foil of the same card cost two lookups; conditions and languages still share one.

One more thing, since you said you were about to test: it is not released yet. My earlier wording made it sound available, sorry. It is implemented and I am finishing verification.

It's out. v2.4.0 shipped with the trend columns, and v2.4.1 followed with an unrelated want-list fix, so grab the latter:

The Chrome Web Store version still needs to clear review, so until then it is the ZIP and "Load unpacked" in developer mode.

The variant handling you pushed me on is in there: a foil row is looked up as foil, a reverse-holo row as reverse holo. Curious whether the numbers match what you see on the product pages for your own stock.
