Action on FAB

There isn't a default way to perform an action on clicking a FAB, what is the best way to do?
and why not implement href like for buttons?

You can add a click event listener to FAB and most of our components for their "default action".

FABs are not designed to be used for navigation, which is why they do not have a built-in href.
