I am having trouble understanding how the Select From Inputs dialogue works. Some items do appear in that dialogue, but very few and I don't know why those items appear there when most others do not. I haven't found a way to add items to or remove items from that list. I also haven't found a way to point that dialogue at a different directory.

So far, the cases where I've wished that I could use that dialogue have been:

1. Using a generated image as an init and/or reference image.
2. Using a generated image as an init image mask.
3. Using an edited image (or at least mask layer) as an init image mask.
4. Making a generated image available in the ComfyUI file picker dialogue.

I have worked around those by simply downloading and re-uploading the files, but I assume I'm missing the logic behind Select From Inputs. Could someone clarify the intended workflow? Apologies in advance if I've overlooked anything obvious.

It pulls from the folder labeled inputs/, you're meant to explicitly upload common reused inputs to that.

If you want to use a general generated image, you can drag from the History view.
