SOLID-Principle-in-PHP

SOLID is an acronym for 5 important design principle when doing OOP Object-Oriented Programming. These 05 principles were introduced by Robert C.Martin (Uncle Bob) in his 2000 paper Design Principles and Design Patterns. The actual S.O.L.I.D acronym was, however identified later by Micheal Feathers.

S = Single Responsibility Principle
O = Open Closed Principle
L = Liskov Substitution Principle
I = Interface Segregation Principle
D = Dependency Inversion Principle

Single Responsibility Principle

A class should have one and only one reason to change.

• Makes the class easier to maintain
• Potentially makes class reusable
• Easier to test
