Why is the MII-SE Profile BMI not based on the FHIR Profile BMI? #43

Description

@hleegwater

I find it hard to understand why the MII-SE Profile BMI is not based on the FHIR Profile BMI.

Links to the two profiles: Body Mass Index (BMI) of the patient v2026.0.1 and BMI v4.0.1

As far I can see, the main difference in modeling choices are related to the cardinality (for example whether the Observation.category:VSCat is required or not, and whether Observation.subject is required. To me, a BMI without a reference to a patient does not really make sense? Same for making Observation.effective optional: a person's BMI can differ over time, so I think it might be a good idea to make this required). Could you maybe explain the reasoning behind the differences?
