Restaurant Operator Referral Desk

A public-beta, static restaurant-operator resource built under the Revenue Ledger program.

Current status

  • Publication authorized: Mike's 2026-08-16 continuous-execution direction is implemented through the A2 GitHub publication policy in ../AUTONOMOUS_INCOME_AGENT_CHARTER.md and ../COMPLIANCE.md.
  • Public URL: https://michaelalriggs.github.io/restaurant-operator-referral-desk/
  • No program enrollment or submission: publication does not enroll Mike, accept a program agreement, submit a prospect, or satisfy a tax/payment gate.
  • No data collection: no backend, database, analytics, cookies, pixels, browser storage, contact fields, or network submission.
  • No live monetization: all outbound links are direct official source URLs with no affiliate or referral parameters.
  • Source review date: 2026-08-16. Compensation values are conditional and official terms control.

Files

  • index.html — accessible single-page content, comparison tables, checklist, consent-first form preview, sources, and disclosures.
  • styles.css — responsive, print-aware, reduced-motion-aware local styles with no external font or image dependency.
  • app.js — browser-only ROI calculations and a non-submitting interest-readiness preview.
  • robots.txt and sitemap.xml — public indexing controls for the GitHub Pages URL.
  • verify_static.py — standard-library static integrity and policy checks.
  • verify_interactions.js — dependency-free Node harness for calculator and consent-preview behavior.

Local preview

From this directory:

python3 -m http.server 8787 --bind 127.0.0.1

Then open http://127.0.0.1:8787/.

Run the release checks:

python3 verify_static.py
node --check app.js
node verify_interactions.js

Calculator model

All inputs stay in the current browser tab.

processing change = monthly card volume × (current rate − candidate rate)
monthly labor value = hours saved per week × 52 ÷ 12 × loaded hourly value
net monthly benefit = processing change + monthly labor value − added software cost
period value = net monthly benefit × evaluation months − one-time switching cost
simple payback = one-time switching cost ÷ net monthly benefit

Defaults are illustrative inputs, not vendor quotes, benchmarks, expected results, or promises. The model excludes taxes, financing, implementation risk, downtime, termination obligations, hardware replacement, revenue changes, tips, chargebacks, and unentered costs.

Release controls

Public reading and indexing are authorized. Monetization and data collection are not.

  1. Current terms: Re-open official sources and update the visible review date before changing economics, triggers, eligibility, tracking windows, payment methods, or promotion dates.
  2. Program authority: Mike must complete any agreement, account, identity, W-9/tax, ACH, KYC, signature, or payout step. A logged-in session does not grant authority.
  3. Payee ownership: Revenue Ledger treats Mike as the intended beneficiary. Program/entity rules still control the lawful recipient and accounting treatment.
  4. Link controls: Use only issued, authorized links. Never invent codes. Label each compensated link immediately before it with “Affiliate link — we may receive compensation.” Add rel="sponsored nofollow".
  5. Editorial independence: Do not sell rankings, fabricate reviews/testimonials/results, or claim partnerships/customer outcomes that do not exist.
  6. Consent: Before sharing any operator data, show the recipient, exact fields, purpose, compensation connection, retention, and revocation path; obtain affirmative permission.
  7. Privacy: No backend may be added without an accurate privacy notice, data minimization, access controls, retention/deletion rules, and abuse handling.
  8. Form safety: The current interest form is a local preview only. A real endpoint requires server-side validation, consent records, success/error handling, and duplicate-submission protection.
  9. Compliance: Re-check FTC disclosure placement, vendor terms, franchise/entity restrictions, Google paid-link qualification, and applicable privacy/marketing rules.
  10. Accessibility: Re-test keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels/status updates, zoom/reflow, contrast, mobile layouts, and reduced motion for every public change.
  11. Operations: Verify live links, representative calculator cases, absence of secrets/private data, uptime, and rollback after each release.

Sources and compliance basis

The page links to official program sources plus the FTC Endorsement Guides FAQ and Google outbound-link qualification guidance. Canonical evidence and authority boundaries remain in:

  • ../REFERRAL_AFFILIATE_AND_BACKLINK_AUDIT_2026-08-16.md
  • ../COMPLIANCE.md
  • ../AUTONOMOUS_INCOME_AGENT_CHARTER.md
  • ../STATUS.md

Official program terms control if this resource differs from a current source.
