Extension updates not reaching users automatically (Edge Add-ons)

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my extension Gemini Watermark Remover on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store to Version 2.0.1:
Gemini Watermark Remover – Edge Add-ons

The store shows the latest version correctly, but users who installed earlier versions (like v1.0) are still stuck on the old release. Their extensions are not updating automatically to the new version.

My doubt is:

• Do I need to add something in the manifest or code to trigger/broadcast updates?
• Or is there a separate step in the Edge Add-ons publishing process to ensure updates roll out to existing users?

I’m confused because I thought updates should be handled automatically by the browser/store once a new version is published.

Any guidance on whether I’m missing a configuration or a publishing step would be really helpful.
