📖 Description
Exposes the installer manifest's optional
ReleaseDatethrough the COM API.winget showalready displays it, but COM callers had no way to read it.ReleaseDatetoPackageInstallerInfoasWindows.Foundation.IReference<Windows.Foundation.DateTime>. TheWindowsPackageManagerContractversion is being incremented from 30 to 31 following this change.YYYY-MM-DD) is returned as midnight UTC of that day. An ISO 8601 date and time (such as2024-06-15T12:00:00Z), which some REST sources return, is also accepted, and the time is ignored.DateTime.IReferencematches existing optional properties such asCatalogPriority, andDateTimematches other date properties such asLastUpdateTime.Utility::TryGetTimePointFromDatehelper in AppInstallerSharedLib that parses the date withstd::get_timeand rejects years outside 1970–3000 and days that don't exist (such as2023-02-29).Limitation: the value is a date only, with no time of day or time zone, matching the manifest field.
