[Problem]: latest docker image seems to be pulling old version #2260

What happened?

pulling latest docker on raspberry pi seems to be pulling 5.04; I had to specify docker pull mikebrady/shairport-sync:5.2.2 to get the new version.

System Information.

raspberry pi 3a

Configuration Information.

shairport-sync --displayConfig and shairport-sync -V don't seem to work with docker install.

Linux amp2 6.18.39+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.18.39-1+rpt1 (2026-07-29) aarch64 GNU/Linux

PulseAudio or PipeWire installed?

  • Check if your system uses a Sound Server.

How did you install Shairport Sync?

Homebrew for Mac
