The GPU compose doesn't work, but the CPU compose works just fine. I bet this is just a quick fix, but somehow it worked for me a month ago, and now it isn't.

Okay, I'm a bit of a novice with docker-compose. But "Gordon" helped me to see that the last section of "volumes" in docker-compose.yaml just needed to go as well at the top of docker-compose.nvidia.yaml and then it seems a-ok.

The workaround that I use, which doesn't require editing any Docker Compose files (which dirties your working tree with local changes) is:

At the root of the Git repository, where the .yaml files are, create an .env file:

File: .env:

COMPOSE_FILE=docker-compose.yaml:docker-compose.nvidia.yaml

(Replace docker-compose.nvidia.yaml with the file that is relevant to your hardware.)

Now you can run docker compose up, without specifying any file at all.
