When I try to subscribe with News i Nextcloud I get 403:

Are you subscribed to multiple tumbler feeds?

If so how many?

It seems like they are not blocking news in general I was able to subscribe to that example feed from my server. Therefore my guess is that you have multiple feeds you are subscribed to and they have a rate limit.

We do not have a direct solution for that. The only thing you could try is to activat the alternative update mode, check the admin settings for news. I think it is also in our docs.

That will change how feeds are fetched based on content updates but might not help here.

Would be cool if you try and see over the next days and give feedback.

It is clear that news is missing a feature to delay updates from the same source (like tumbler) but there is currently no plan to add that.

Heh. This has been ongoing issue for about a week, and the day after I finally raise an issue it starts working.

I don't have other feeds from tumblr, but I checked a couple others before submitting, got 403 on all of them.

But, now it works.
