I'm sorry to bother you again.
Now, we could get the critical discontinuity planes as a 3D file (.dxf) .
If we have geometric information about all discontinuities in a xlsx file ,how could we get all discontinuity planes as a 3D file (.dxf) .I want to show all discontinuity planes in Cloud Compare.

Hi CurryFang, sorry for the late reply. To get all the discontinuity planes as dxf files you have 2 ways: 1. If you map the discontinuities in CloudCompare using the TracePloyline tool and save the polylines as a dxf file, you can use the dxf_fitplane matlab. This function fits the best-fit circular planes to the polylines and save all the circular planes as dxf in a folder. 2. If you map the discontinuities in other ways, we have to hack the dxf_fitplane in order to retrive all the geometric infos (x,y and z coordinates of the center, Nx,Ny and Nz components of the plane normal vector and radius) from your xlsx file and create and save the circular planes as dxf. (obviously, I can help you to do it). What way would you prefer?
