Rotate floorplan buttons / rotate on device-user

I'd like to have an option to rotate the view when I am not in the editor.

On my wall tablet I'd like to have it on landscape , but on my phone that is unusable small and would benefit from a portrait orientation.
The fixed 0-90-180-270 rotation options would be fine I guess.

As an extension on that, a preferred/default orientation per device/user? I am not sure how to implement this ?

I don't know if it could help you but I'm doing this with HomeAssistant conditional visibility feature, card-mod and a theme:

• landscape (as soon as you rotate your mobile phone, but it needs rotation active on the phone):

to hide the header (the status bar on top) I had to modify my theme and add these:

the only issue is it hides the header to any HomeAssistant view in landscape, probabily could be fixed some way but I didn't find a solution yet.

EDIT: now I see your vision. If you rotate the map 90° probably you don't even need all this auto-rotation nonsense. The problem I see it's that you will end also with 90° rotated text a 90° rotated icons and need to flex your neck to read text information.

The text isn't too important to me, but i thought it stays right way up with the map rotation in easyplan editor

I would implement this feature only if we can pair it to a user / device as you said. Not sure adding rotation buttons is the way to go mmmm.
