## [2.4.1] — 2026-10-29

15+
A patch release with two fixes of what Content-Visibility and Oversized-Images report. The CLI reaches version 1.7.1 (see [`cli/CHANGELOG.md`](cli/CHANGELOG.md)) and the extension 0.5.1, with the same snippets.
16+

### Fixed
1218
- Content-Visibility warns with `missing-intrinsic-size` about an element with `content-visibility: auto` and no size. `content-visibility: auto` adds `auto` to `contain-intrinsic-size`, so Chrome reports an element with no size as `auto none`, also when the CSS says `none`, and the snippet flagged only `none` or no value: the warning never appeared in Chrome. It now flags a value with no length, and an element with `auto 500px` or `500px` stays clean.
1319
- Oversized-Images leaves out an SVG of the page served without the `.svg` extension, such as `/logo?format=svg` from an image service, by the content type of its response, where Chrome and Edge 148 and Firefox 129 report it. It measured it as a raster image and flagged it as oversized. An SVG of another origin without the extension is still measured, since the browser does not give its content type.

A security release: the URL of the command line takes only `http` and `https`, an invalid `--header` no longer prints its token, and the MCP server tells the agent that what a page returns is data. The snippets are those of the collection 2.4.0, whose selectors match only their element, listed under Changed: a `--baseline` of 1.6.0 sees the warnings `missing-intrinsic-size` of Content-Visibility, whose `target` is a selector, as fixed and new once.
