The module was renamed from Nuxt KQL to Nuxt Kirby: the npm package is nuxt-kirby, and it fetches from Kirby's REST API as well as KQL. This renames the entry from kql to kirby, so npx nuxt module add kirby – the command in the module's docs – finds it. Today that command falls through to the unrelated npm package kirby.

kql stays as an alias, so nuxt module add kql and links to /modules/kql keep working. Since aliases are maintained by the Nuxt team, please keep or adjust it as you see fit. The description now covers both data sources, and the icon file follows the new name.

Checked: pnpm sync kirby johannschopplich/nuxt-kirby and pnpm lint pass.

📝 Walkthrough

The module is now named kirby. Its description covers fetching Kirby CMS data through KQL or the REST API, and its icon is now kirby.svg. The kql name is retained as an alias.

Changed-module sync can remove the kql compatibility alias. Preserve it before merging unless that regression is explicitly accepted.

Preserve the kql alias during changed-module sync.

The changed-sync workflow classifies modules/kirby.yml as added and passes stripAliases: true. sync then deletes mod.aliases, so the kql alias can be removed. Enable rename detection when computing added modules.
