Reschedule a daily task that is overdue to tomorrow?

Hi,
sorry, beginners question, but perhaps someone can help me reocurring tasks. I have some tasks as a daily routine that simple repeat every day. Sometimes, I miss one of them so that it becomes overdue. When I check that task today (the one I missed yesterday), it is rescheduled for today. However, I want to reschedule it for tomorrow. Can I express that somehow? Or can I express that the missed task should be simply deleted (or automatically be done)?
