Error running anyjump

Using any-jump on vim 8.2 against a C code base, running ripgrep 13.0.0, I get the following error:

E491: json decode error at 'regex could not be compiled with either the default regex engine or with PCRE2.'`

Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?

Looks like this is an issue with using ripgrep. When I switched to using ag, anyjump works great.
