support for MIMXRT1170

I wanted to ask if by any chance we will have support for MIMXRT1170 soon?
or is it possible to change existing nxpimxrt config to be used with MIMXRT1170?

I can see that you support zephyr for the other boards on this family. it can be freertos or even baremetal. it's just that I've found platformIO really easier when developing and I'm not comfortable with eclipse/mcuxpresso.

Unfortunately, this platform only supports two frameworks - aforementioned Zephyr and mbed. It seems that none of them support this MIMXRT1170.

This is not fully correct anymore. The Zephyr Projects nowadays supports the IMX.RT1170 family.

Hi! Do you have plans to add i.MX RT1170 support with Zephyr? Looks like issue #11 is also about that.
