ReleaseGate is an independent academic research artifact. Names and links identify the systems, sources, and providers studied; they do not imply endorsement.
The frozen dataset contains or derives fields from public upstream sources: release notes, changelog entries, commits, pull requests, and issue reports; GitHub Security Advisories, CVE records, OSV records, and OpenVEX statements; container image names, tags, and OCI digests; and public application configuration and health-check conventions.
Those excerpts and facts remain subject to their original licenses, terms, and applicable law. The CC BY 4.0 grant in this repository covers Paul Madelénat's original curation, annotations, labels, and arrangement only to the extent he owns the relevant rights. Source identifiers and URLs are retained in the ledgers for auditability.
The six subject applications are Gitea, Grafana, n8n, Nextcloud, Open WebUI, and Uptime Kuma. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
ReleaseGateStack interoperates with Dokploy, Windmill, Diun, and an S3-compatible object store. ReleaseGateCore can call model providers through LiteLLM. Provider and model names in frozen run records are factual provenance, not endorsements or claims of continued availability.
The LaTeX class and style files under Thesis/ (EPFLThesis.cls and
Thesis/Configurations/*.sty) are derived from the
IPLeiria Thesis template by
José Areia, used and redistributed under the LaTeX Project Public License 1.3c
(LICENSES/LPPL-1.3c.txt). The derived work is maintained independently of the
upstream template.
Fonts bundled under Thesis/Configurations/Fonts/ are third-party works and are
not relicensed by this repository. Geist, Geist Mono, and Geist Pixel are
published by Vercel under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
"EPFL" and "École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne" identify the author's
academic affiliation. EPFL names and marks are not licensed by this repository,
and EPFL does not endorse this software by virtue of that affiliation. The EPFL
logotypes and cover artwork under Thesis/Figures/Theme/ are institutional
assets reproduced for the required thesis presentation format; they remain the
property of EPFL and are not covered by this repository's license grants.
Python dependencies are not vendored; their package metadata and distributions carry the authoritative license terms. Container images referenced by sample Compose files are fetched separately and remain under their publishers' terms.
If you believe attributed third-party material is missing a notice or should not appear in this research snapshot, use the private contact process in SECURITY.md rather than posting sensitive details publicly.
