What changed

Prepare 0.7.36 for npm latest, including the merged ACP stdio support. Bump the manifest and lockfile, add release notes, and synchronize the changelog and both READMEs.

Why

The current public 0.7.35 launcher does not contain dscode acp. A new immutable version is needed to publish the merged implementation through the existing release workflow.

Checks run

  • npm run lint
  • node scripts/check-docs.mjs — clean
  • make version-check TAG=v0.7.36
  • The unchanged feature code passed Node 22/24 full checks and Linux e2e in PR Add ACP stdio support to DSCODE #7.

Notes

After merge, tag v0.7.36 to run the existing terminal and Desktop qualification and ordered npm/Hub publication. The release notes document ACP's native protocol limitations and untested editor-specific behavior.

Prepare the merged ACP implementation for npm latest with a new immutable version, release notes, changelog and synchronized README guidance. The release workflow verifies and publishes the exact versioned packages.

Validation: documentation checker, lint, and tag/version check passed. The unchanged feature code passed both Node CI matrices and Linux end-to-end checks.
